Wesley Glover of Bold Media on working with Praxis
Where it started

When Wesley first sat down with Taylor, he described himself almost like an employee in his own business. Shooting, editing, answering emails, invoicing when he got round to it. He was sure he wasn't good at sales and not much of a business owner.
But listen to him talk about his work and you hear it straight away: the passion, the knowledge, the experience. He was the most capable person in his business by a mile. His confidence had simply been knocked, and nobody had ever told him how good he was.
It wasn't his invoices or his admin. He was stuck in technician mode: doing the work every hour of the day and never running the business, because the work was where he felt confident.
Built with them, step by step
Non-negotiables
Protected hours every week working on the business, not in it: new work, marketing, referrals and finance, booked in like a client shoot so the wheel never stops turning.
Services ranked by return
Every service laid out and ranked by what it earns against the time and cost it takes, alongside a full pricing review. The top ones became the core he sells again and again. Not laziness: finding his flywheel.
Repeatable processes
A sales workflow, a CRM with clear pipeline stages, a proper filing system and a breakeven tracker, so the business runs on systems rather than memory, and outstanding invoices get chased.
A team he can delegate to
A role profile and training matrix for his team member, and a team structure for the next 12 months, so the work he used to do himself can be handed over with confidence.
A referral system
His best clients already loved him, but nobody had ever asked them for introductions. We built a simple referral system around his loyal clients, with a clear ask, an incentive and follow-up tracked in the CRM.
Sales as a conversation
No pitch. Just talking about what he's brilliant at, the way he talked to us, backed by a simple call guide. Confidence first, and a 90-day plan with accountability, then sales follows.
Where they are now
- Repeatable processes and workflows
- A team he trusts and delegates to
- His time spent on cash-generating work
- Non-negotiables that keep the business moving
- A referral system built around his best clients
- A 90-day plan he works from on his own
